Hat trick: Danish Aerotech receives third supplier excellence award from Raytheon

 

Danish Aerotech A/S has for the third consecutive year received the exclusive Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS).

 

Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems' Jack Baikie, Vice President, Supply Chain Management, and Robert Lindeman, Vice President, Mission Assurance, said upon announcing the award:

 

"At SAS we strive to deliver the best possible solutions to support our customers’ mission success, and we expect the same standard of excellence from our suppliers. Danish Aerotech A/S has met our expectations by maintaining the highest standards in quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction in supporting critical SAS programs. As a result, we’re pleased to recognize you with this prestigious award for your outstanding performance in 2008."

 

Danish Aerotech's President & CEO Soren E. Petersen says: "Quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction are our top priorities, and we are therefore very proud to receive Raytheon's award again this year." 

 

The co-operation between Danish Aerotech and Raytheon began already in 1994, where the contract for production of Power Supplies for the F-16 computer systems was awarded.

 

The contract has since been renewed several times, and Danish Aerotech has now delivered more than 1650 sets of F-16 Power Supplies to Raytheon.

 

Raytheon is one of the world's largest Defense Industry corporations, with 73,000 employees and a turnover of more than USD 23 billion.

 

Danish Aerotech manufactures mechanical, electrical and electronic components and systems for aircraft and helicopters, including F-16, E-3A AWACS, EH/AW-101, Lynx, and S-61/SeaKing, and performs maintenance on T-17 aircraft, and AMRAAM and Sidewinder missiles.
