Danish Aerotech receives NATO award

Danish Aerotech A/S has been awarded the recognition of 2009 Outstanding Source of Repair (SOR) for Components by the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) and the International Aerospace Management Company (IAMCO).

The company was selected by NATO for the recognition under the annual NATO Airborne Early Warning and Control System (AWACS) Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) SOR Recognition Programme.

This is the third year Danish Aerotech is awarded the recognition of Outstanding Source of Repair from NATO.

Mr Michael Muzinich, NAMSA Program Manager, accompanied by Mr Max Kuchler, IAMCO General Manager, presented the prestigious award to Danish Aerotech CEO Jan Joergensen during a brief ceremony on June 1st, 2010, held at the companys' facilities at Karup Airbase in Denmark, and congratulated the personel involved in the program.

The award is based on the results of the annual performance evaluation jointly conducted by IAMCO, the prime contractor for the NATO DLM and contractor support services, and by NAMSA, providing logistics support and contract oversight for the the NATO AWACS fleet.
